I don't think they stop to look anymore, but if you stand right outside my tia's house this is what you witness. A fabulous landscape and a cup of coffee in the morning, what else could you ask for.

This small structure used to be a restroom which was built for the exclusive use of the priests that came to give mass. It is now an abandoned shack.

I captured this image while going to my godfather's house and I immediately liked it. Then I found the following story on the internet, don't know who to give credit to. I hope you enjoy it.

Mula came upon a frowning man walking along the road to town. "What's wrong?" he asked. The man held up a tattered bag and moaned, "All that I own in this wide world barely fills this miserable, wretched sack." "Too bad," said Mula, and with that, he snatched the bag from the man's hands and ran down the road with it. Having lost everything, the man burst into tears and, more miserable than before, continued walking. Meanwhile, Mula quickly ran around the bend and placed the man's sack in the middle of the road where he would have to come upon it. When the man saw his bag sitting in the road before him, he laughed with joy, and shouted, "My sack! I thought I'd lost you!" Watching through the bushes, Mula chuckled. "Well, that's one way to make someone happy!"

This image shows the adobe the house is made with, the plants that grow all around the house, and the church's bell tower.

Entrance to the church. This church is only used for mass once in a while as they don't have a regular priest. Priests come from neighboring towns to celebrate mass.

Back in the day, when we were living in Mexico we too had one of this. All of our clothes were washed there by hand. Our first clothes washing machine came much later. When we first moved to the US we did all of our washing at a public laundermat.
