Arizona - But It's a Dry Heat!

Just next to us is another neighbourhood that has small lakes too, except they do get to have a boat and use it in it. No motor powered boats just the ones you can propel with your feet. At least that's what the sign said. My grandson and I went out on a photo hunt outing, I had not taken pictures in a long time and I had been struggling to post here. Now at least I have images for the next two weeks.

Phoenix, Arizona may be a city but it's stll a desert. A lot of landscapes will have a lot of rock instead of grass but there are some that when kept up like this one here actually look very good and attractive.

This tree is huge and in total need of a hair cut or in its case a branch cut.

I know that if I had my way that would be the way to "rough" it.

This is Allayna chasing some birds in a park during one of our visits to Tucson last year. It looks to me like she is doing some sort of a rain dance.

This is one amazing image if you ask me. While our car was moving in one direction the train was moving in the opposite direction. Then look at the house over the train, yeap you guess it, it wasn't moving at all.

I love how the inside of the car is all dark. Jr's face is nothing but a silhouette, but the outside scene is perfectly clear.

I have been slow with the camera these days and I just haven't been any place new. Therefore I present to you this image that I had already posted before. This spectacular sunset was captured during our trip to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point)in Mexico in the summer of 2007. To date it's one of my favorite images.

This image shows the pole, the banner, and the street too. Can you tell by the picture that we are experiencing short and t-shirt days again. It's January and it's supposed to be cold. Then again, this is Phoenix isn't it?

I captured this image before the city comes and removes all the banners hanging from the light poles in the neighborhood. The holidays were great while they lasted, now it's back to reality. Happy New Year, may it be prosperous and happy.

Another shot from my "Freeway Art" collection. I know it's similar to the previous ones but it's not the same. The color just pops out at you. I hope you enjoy it.
