On my way to church last Sunday the clouds gathered and had a meeting, on their agenda they were planning on getting me wet. So they decided to wait until an hour and a half later and at the precise moment when I was going to the car it started raining so hard that by the time I reached the door I was soaking wet.

I started my daily walk the other day when not even five minutes into my walk it started raining, it had been cloudy all day but the rain decided to hold until I came out. Needless to say I turned around and headed back.

I took this picture last week. What I like about this is that the area where I was had no clouds and the sun was shining through, however everywhere around me was cloudy and if you look past the chain link fence it was actually raining very hard in some areas. Well I know it was raining hard because I was headed that way. Ten minutes after I got on the freeway it got dark and it rained on me all the way home. I love the rain but right now I hate it because my car is missing the rear window.

I did this before with my car parked by a puddle of water. Yesterday during my lunch brake walk there were puddles all over the place due to the weekend rain. I took a few pictures here and there. This is one of them, to make it interesting I decided to post it upside down.

I woke up Saturday and it was windy but sunny, half an hour later it got even cloudier, and an hour later the clouds were so low that in a matter of minutes the sky got black and the rain started. It rainded all day long. Perfect setting for sitting inside watching Chritmas movies.

The sky got dark and the sun hid behind the clouds for a little while, but just to let us know he was still there he left a little hole between the clouds where he could shine through.

It was a sunny day and then without a warning a monsoon hit us and it rained like there was no tomorrow. It only lasted for about ten minutes and then just as fast as it came, it left but this is what was left for us as a gift.

Yesterday we left work and it was a nice sunny day, about 25 minutes on the freeway the sky started to get black and before you knew it a monsoon came bringing with it lots of wind and rain. It actually rained like there was no tomorrow. Then a few minutes later the same way it came it left, fast and quietly. "Mi chica" called me outside so I could see this beautiful sunset and I just had to take my camera with me, I took more than one picture so I'll post more at a future day.

Same scene from the previous picture but different take. Just proof that we do have clouds in Phoenix.

What a difference a day makes, I took this picture two days ago from my neighbour's front yard, even thogh the sky was totally cloudy and the monsoon was in full bloom the temperature was still well over a hundred making it a muggy day. Today is all sunny once again. I love Phoenix.

Yesterday as I came home from work a monsoon started to form in the North side of the city and it started to move in the direction I was traveling. I had just washed my car so the few drops of rain and the sand flying around was enough to get it all dirty again. As soon as I got home I went to my back yard and started shooting, I took at least ten pictures as the monsoon passed by.
