Arizona - But It's a Dry Heat!

NASCAR is in town and the party is in full force. Last night we saw a lot or car carrier big rigs leaving town. I am sure from Friday's race. I capture this image about a month ago during the Fire Station open house, notice the PIR logo. Yes my friends PIR (Phoenix International Raceway) is actually not in Phoenix but in Avondale, just a mere ten minutes away from where I live.

I believe we were told sixteen rows of four, and they expect to use as many as they can possibly can.

This is one of the walls in the elevator lobby. Green is one of my favorite colors and I liked the way the chromed out letters looked against the green background.

This image only shows a portion of the huge amount of RV's that make it into town for the racing weekend. This is proof than when people come together anything is possible. To build a city overnight on a piece of desert only shows me that there is hope yet.

This is the view from our suite. As you can see, it dominates the whole track and best of all you don't need to wear earplugs.
