NASCAR is in town and the party is in full force. Last night we saw a lot or car carrier big rigs leaving town. I am sure from Friday's race. I capture this image about a month ago during the Fire Station open house, notice the PIR logo. Yes my friends PIR (Phoenix International Raceway) is actually not in Phoenix but in Avondale, just a mere ten minutes away from where I live.

This is one of the walls in the elevator lobby. Green is one of my favorite colors and I liked the way the chromed out letters looked against the green background.

This image only shows a portion of the huge amount of RV's that make it into town for the racing weekend. This is proof than when people come together anything is possible. To build a city overnight on a piece of desert only shows me that there is hope yet.
