Arizona - But It's a Dry Heat!



Look at this image. Here if you go to a museum and see this the caption may read, "This is how our ancenstors used to cook". There, it's still the way they cook. That's my niece taking care of the nixtamal. Nixtamal is the corn that will eventually be maze to make tortillas.

Oh Jose, love that picture. My friends who lived in Mexico for years doing translation work, shared picuture of her making tortilla from scratch...

I'm so behind in reading post, but all your pictures are wonderful. Julie is still sick, and we've been busy watching grandkids.
