Arizona - But It's a Dry Heat!

It was nice to find our beloved Mexican flag inside the mission. In Mexico all throughout your school years every Monday is reserved to salute and honor the flag. It's sort of a big thing there. I have been living here most of my life and have adopted the American Flag as my own. But still deep inside Mexico runs trough my veins.

I have good feelings about people who honor their heritage. Although I and my husband were born in England and our two boys were born in Canada, our past heritage is Welsh and we have tried to maintain this heritage for our boys. The result is that they both have Welsh flags up in their work places. It is good to honor your cultural heritage while truly appreciating the privilege it is to be an American.
