I've done this on the Gateway Arch in St Louis (mind-boggling), the Sears Tower, and that vehicular assembly building at Cape Canaveral (they won't let you get close anymore).

dmarks - yeah, I just don't get tired of the effect it puts on the images. I too have taken pictures of taller buildings, but after a certain point you just lose perspective of how tall a buildng really is.
